Several years ago I was in a wreck. A guy was parked on the side of the road in, get this, a tow truck. I waited behind him before it became obvious that he wasn’t going to move within the next few minutes. I slowly drove around. That’s about the time that he decided to move. I was going 0 MPH. He was maybe doing 5 MPH. So it wasn’t a very violent wreck. The violence that did take place was all directed at my automobile.

When the police officer showed up I thought things would work out pretty quickly in my favor. I was wrong. The two truck driver told a different story. And the officer seemed to believe him. He even wrote me a ticket. Apparently getting hit by a tow truck driver who also happened to be driving without a license was illegal in that town.

I was angry.

But there was hope.

The accident happened right in front of the drive-thru window of that town’s small community bank. The lady on the other side of that window saw the whole thing.

Finally! Justice was working in my favor. All I had to do was get the lady at the bank to talk to the officer. Things were looking up for me.

I was happy.

But not for long.

That lady who was working at the bank and who saw everything that happened didn’t want to talk. It was none of her business and she wanted to keep it that way.

I went back to being angry.

I just finished watching another undercover video where the evil practices of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s number one abortion provider were exposed. On Monday night, I saw another one. The first video showed abortionists at a conference laughing about a murdered baby’s eyeballs falling. In the second video, the abortionists talked about how “cute” and “amazing” the heart was of one of her victims. She went on to speak of how much she, “respects development.”

Over ten similar videos have been released since this summer. The Democratic Party has reacted by standing strong on their party platform of child murder. The Republican Party responded to the videos by creating show votes that they knew would never get anywhere just so that they could say that they tried, all the while not upsetting their financial backers too much. If Republican representatives in this country were actually as pro-life as they would like for us to believe, these videos would never had to have been made in the first place. Say what you want about the Democrats but at least they’re consistent. They pretty much tell you that they’re pro-death in their party platform and when it comes down to it, they stick to their guns.

And the American people are really no better. Most of them respond to the horrors documented in these videos by wondering who’s up next on The Bachelor.

We are all the lady sitting at the drive-thru window at the bank that day. We can’t play dumb any longer. Through the wonders of undercover video and the Internet, the tragic events have played out right before us. To do and say nothing is an injustice.

The abortionists in these videos who laugh about killing babies while eating salad and adding up dollar signs in their heads aren’t the only bad guys here. The politicians who use the force of government to fund these operations are just as guilty. So too are the so-called conservative politicians at both the state and federal level who say what their constituents want to hear but who don’t have enough courage to do what God wants them to do.

Eventually, that lady at the bank came out to the scene of the accident. She reluctantly told the officer what she saw and went back to her seat at the drive-thru. I was glad that she said something before it was too late. The officer tore up my ticket. Justice won that day.

But it is losing now. And it’s losing bad.

All because half of our representatives in D.C., including our president, are okay with killing babies. But that doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. I’ve come to expect it from the left in this country.

What really bothers me is the people on the right. You know, the ones who claim to be all for God and country. The ones who are supposedly strong against abortion. The ones who can’t be bothered to do anything about it when the opportunity presents itself.

So if there is one thing that most certainly is a bipartisan effort from our state and federal representatives, one thing they they can finally find common ground on, it is this.

The blood of the unborn is on their hands.

And it’s everyone’s business.

Thinking Twice About Pink

It’s that time of year again when everything turns pink. Pink ribbons on cars. Pink baseball bats. Pink football socks. Pink is on it’s way to dethroning orange and brown as the official color of fall.

Most of it is well meaning. People hate breast cancer. We all know and love people who have in some way suffered from the disease. We want to do anything we can to help. But since most of us don’t know anything about medicine and finding cures, we do the next best thing. We give money.

But if we really care about life, we should consider who we give that money to.

Most often, the money spent on those pink socks and pink baseball bats and pink ribbons goes to Susan G. Komen. For the record, it’s  a lot of money. So much so that, in 2013 with revenue dipping by 22%, the organization still managed to pay its president and CEO a  $475,000 salary.

Use your imagination with me for a moment.

Suppose that you were the CEO of an organization that was devoted to ridding the world of some terrible thing. And suppose that you were paid quite handsomely for leading that organization. You, being the logical person that you are, know that if you do your job well, you likely will not have a job for very long. The good news would be that the terrible thing you were fighting would be gone. The bad news would be that your six figure salary would be gone too.

What would you do?

Would you still fight to put yourself out of a job or would you carry on existing to justify your own existence so that you can keep getting those big paychecks?

Perhaps your answer is a noble one. Maybe you would still fight hard and find yourself another job when the one you have isn’t needed anymore. Can you trust that someone else in the same position would respond with the degree of integrity that you would?

A few years back, Komen found itself in a difficult situation. People became aware of the organization’s links to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. So Komen decided to cut ties with the devil. Well, it turned out that the devil had quite a few supporters. And loud ones too. So Komen caved to the pressure and decided to keep giving some of their money to Planned Parenthood, who I should remind you is the nation’s largest abortion provider and partially funded by American tax payers.

You won’t hear Komen describing their relationship with Planned Parenthood the same way that I did. They’ll just say that their money only goes to support a few Planned Parenthood facilities.

Use your imagination with me again.

Let’s pretend that I’m trying raise money for a cause, say making public libraries better. So when I ask you for money, like any responsible adult, you ask where the money will be going. I tell you that 80% of all donations go toward rebuilding libraries, 10% goes to administrative costs and 10% goes to the local chapter of the Klu Klux Klan seeing as how they too care about libraries.

Would you still give me your money?

Perhaps you think that I’m being too harsh by comparing Planned Parenthood to the KKK. The similarities couldn’t be more clear. Both organizations are fueled by people who only notice, “The good they do,” and both organizations seem to want black people dead. But, to the Klan’s credit, at least my tax dollars don’t support them. Well, as far as I know.

I hate cancer. And I also hate baby butchering. Despite what the folks at Komen or Planned Parenthood tell you, there are alternatives. If you really want to give money to fight breast cancer, you don’t have to give to an organization that supports abortion. By the way, have you noticed the irony there? With some research showing a link between abortion and breast cancer, the nation’s leading breast cancer awareness organization gives money to the nation’s largest abortion provider.

It all looks like a pretty good con to me.

But you don’t have to be a part of it.

There are other options.

If you would like to research some of those options, here are a few good places to start. and their founder, Janelle Hail

Silence Screams

On July 16, 2009, Henry Louis Gates was locked out of his own home. The door was jammed so he tried to force it open. A neighbor thought the scene looked suspicious so she had another neighbor call the police. From there, everything went sideways. What would normally be just another awkward neighborhood incident became a national story about race and the police.

Eventually, President Barack Obama got involved. He and Vice President Joe Biden shared a beer with Gates and the policeman who first arrived on the scene. As President Obama and his advisers saw it, the ugly incident between neighbors and the local police demanded his attention.

And so he responded.

In March of 2015, President Barack Obama sat down for an interview of sorts with Andy Katz. The two weren’t talking foreign policy or education. Andy Katz works for ESPN and for seven straight years, he has met with President Obama to talk NCAA basketball. More specifically, Katz, and the nation apparently, wanted to know if Obama had a 12 seed upsetting a 5 seed and who he had in his Final Four. As the president and his advisors saw it, this was a gold mine. The yearly NCAA bracket discussion would win him appeal among young, sports-loving voters.

And so he responded.

On July 14, 2015, The Center for Medical Progress released its first in a string of undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of murdering babies and selling their body parts. Since the release of that first video, we have seen other videos. Gruesome videos. Videos of a lady eating salad and drinking wine while she cold-heartedly speaks of selling baby parts. If she were a pimp talking about one of her workers or a puppy mill owner talking about harvesting the organs of unborn dogs, the nation would be beside itself. But this lady was just talking about human beings. So a lot of people looked the other way and carried on with their lives.

Including President Barack Obama.

No sit down with Cecile Richards, the president and CEO of Planned Parenthood, and a representative from The Center for Medical Progress. No interview with the media, discussing how he feels about the videos.

We did get a comment from White House press secretary Josh Earnest. He informed us that the videos were, “fraudulent.” When pressed as to how he knew that they were “fraudulent” without having seen them, his basic response was, “Well, because Planned Parenthood told us they were fraudulent.”

Still, President Barack Obama has not spoken directly about these videos.

He has spoken through his press secretary. But he has also spoken through his silence. And his silence screams.

It tells us that all human life doesn’t matter. It tells us that money from financial backers is more important than genuine justice. And it tells us that tax-payer funded lab technicians poking and laughing at a baby with a beating heart just before slicing that baby’s face open to remove his brains is perfectly normal.

On October 22, 2010, President Barack Obama gave a speech. This speech was directed toward kids who are bullied. He told his audience that they, “Didn’t do anything to deserve being bullied.”

If only President Barack Obama felt the same way about babies.

If only our government wasn’t such a bully.

A Word Of Encouragement To The Folks At Planned Parenthood

Dear Planned Parenthood,

I promise not to take too much of your time. I know that you’re busy.

It’s been a rough couple of months for you. Every week a new video is released detailing what goes on in your facilities. It must be torture for you to know that the next Tuesday or Wednesday there will be another undercover video. What will they show next? How will the public respond?

Well, while you wait for the next video to come out, I’ve got some encouragement for you. It’s just two words.

Don’t worry.

Don’t worry about how the public will respond to the latest video detailing how a worker at your facility playfully poked at a newborn baby with a still beating heart just before removing his brains.

Even if the next video shows, in vivid detail, one of your employees actually ending the life of a newborn baby and trading his remains for $250 with a guy parked out back in a black van, don’t worry.

You don’t need to worry about any of this because, for the most part, it seems as though no one else in the country is worried either.

Most politicians are too busy trying to get elected and wiping their servers clean to care about what you do.

A majority of the people in this country have focused their collective efforts on identifying as something they are not and getting themselves all worked up over who showed up to the premier of American Ultra.

You don’t even have to worry about a lot of Christians. Sure, they’re all about justice. But just the cool justice. Justice for coffee farmers in Columbia. Justice for shoe manufactures in the Philippines. But not justice for babies in one of your facilities. Fortunately for you, speaking up for the unborn just isn’t hip in many Christian circles. People might cough up their fairly traded coffee all over their humanely harvested jeans if their pastor brought up something like abortion on a Sunday morning.

Don’t worry. You’re going to be just fine. If things carry on as they have, you won’t lose any funding from the government and you can always count on the support of the people. Or the ignorance of the people. But what’s the difference?

Between now and the release of the next undercover video, just pray or meditate or chant or whatever it is you do to whatever god it is you worship that one of your workers doesn’t get caught on camera putting too much air in a football or posing for a sorority picture that isn’t diverse enough.

If that happens, there will be hell to pay.

But as long as all you do is just kill babies, there will be no hell to pay.

Well, for now at least. At some point you will have to stand before Jesus to give an account for your actions. Unlike many politicians, he cannot be paid off. And he will not ignore what you are doing. He will administer his perfect justice upon those who destroyed the babies who are created in his image. So unless you change, you will have hell to pay.

But anyway, be encouraged!

When Disaster Strikes

Don’t get me wrong.

I’m not the type to blame Hurricane Katrina on the sins of any particular group of people. I don’t go speaking for God whenever there is some calamity. “This is God’s punishment for…” You get the picture.

If some hurricane in some far away city is God’s punishment for sin, then we better be ready in our own cities.

That’s the reason why I’m writing this.

Not every tragedy is God’s punishment for something. But sometimes it is. And if we’ve ever done anything in this country to deserve God’s punishment, it is the killing of babies. I don’t know if disaster will strike us anytime soon. I haven’t received a special word from the Lord. All I know is that if God does decide to punish this country, he has every right to do so.

When something bad happens, skeptics like to use it as ammo against Christians.

Where was your good and loving and all powerful God when that daycare caught on fire and all of those kids died?

Where was your holy God when that hurricane wiped out the lower half of Mississippi?

So is your God weak or did he just not care enough to stop that terrorist attack?

Be ready for questions like those when disaster strikes. Be ready to ask a few questions of your own.

Where was your sense of justice for small children when Planned Parenthood was delivering them alive and pulling out their brains?

Were you just too busy or did you just not care that millions of babies were put to death in this country while our leaders threw compliments and money at Planned Parenthood?

I pray for God to have mercy on us. But at the same time, I know that he is a just God. He is not apathetic or passive to the murder of people he created in his image. He has punished nations, even his own chosen nation, for sins before. We would be naive to believe that ours will be any different.

God destroyed Sodom and Gommorrah for their sins (Genesis 19:23-29).

It was the sins of God’s own people that caused them to lose the land that he had given to them and to live instead as slaves in a foreign land (Daniel 1:1-7).

Much later, God allowed Jerusalem, the holy city, to fall again.

God didn’t do these things because he has a short temper or because he is evil. He did them because he hates sin. And, contrary to public opinion, hatred of evil and love for what is good do go together. If you don’t believe me, watch how a loving mother acts when she sees an adult assault her small child. Are you prepared to call her unloving for pouring out her wrath on the man who is hurting her child?

The next time disaster strikes, there will be many who use it as an opportunity to chip away at God’s love, power and goodness. In reality, it could be that the disaster is simply his display of all three things, namely his love for the people he created in his image, his power over evil and his goodness to those who obey and love him.

The real disaster has already struck. For some 50 years now in this country, we have sanctioned the sacrifice of children to the gods of sex, comfort, money and power. That’s the disaster. If God chooses to shower our cities with sulfur and fire, he will be just in doing so.

Maybe he will do it while you read this.

Or maybe his mercy and patience will last even longer than it already has.

But we must be careful. While God’s holiness, goodness and love are limitless, his mercy and his patience are not. They do run out. And before they do, we must pay attention to the words of Jesus.

There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:1-5 (ESV)

Or perish.

Those are our options.

I pray that, before the next disaster strikes, our leaders would follow the example of the King of Nineveh.

The word reached the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, removed his robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he issued a proclamation and published through Nineveh, “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything. Let them not feed or drink water, but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and let them call out mightily to God. Let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who knows? God may turn and relent and turn from his fierce anger, so that we may not perish.” Jonah 3:6-9 (ESV)

Who knows?

God may have mercy on us so that we do not perish.

Or he may just send disaster our way.

If he does, and you are tempted to wonder why, look no further than the remains of the babies we have sacrificed to our false gods.

Getting Away With Murder But Not Methamphetamine

Lee-Ann Ellison might be fit but she certainly isn’t fit for motherhood.

That’s what people were saying a few years ago when the then 35-year-old woman posted a picture of herself lifting weights while 8 months pregnant.

People said that it wasn’t safe.

They said that this was the time for her to be protective of her unborn child, not to lift weights.

And they called her stupid.

All because Lee-Ann Ellison seemed to put her health before her baby.

On the other end of the health spectrum we have Stephanie Lee Mize. She was arrested a few days ago for allegedly smoking meth with her husband. And her unborn child. The child tested positive for meth shortly after being born.

Reactions were typical.

The child has the right to be born in a safe, drug-free home.

Stephanie Lee Mize needs to have her tubes tied.

She deserves the death penalty.

But why?

What gives us the right to judge women who lift weights, or climb huge rocks, or race cars or go scuba diving or lay on their back for 30 minutes at a time?

And what gives us the right to judge women who decided that they want to smoke methamphetamine or rob banks or go through a few packs of cigarettes during lunch or finish off a bottle of whiskey while they are 8 months pregnant?

Their body. Their choice.

At least that’s what we are told by the kind folks over at Planned Parenthood and the so-called women’s rights crowd. They’re tired of men making decisions about women’s health issues. They’re tired of right wingers trying to take us back to the 1950s. They’re tired of efforts to remove government funding from Planned Parenthood facilities.

A woman has the right to make her own choices about her body.

Unless, of course, that woman decides to smoke meth while 8-months pregnant. Suddenly the cultural conversation shifts and the abortion crowd begins to sort of sound like pro-lifers. They worry about what harm could be done to the baby, er, excuse me, mass of cells.

When Stephanie Lee Mize was arrested, do you know what charges were brought against her? It wasn’t something involving a controlled substance. No, it was unlawful neglect of a child.

A child, if you’re keeping score at home, who wasn’t even born at the time of said meth smoking.

Do these law makers know about the neglect of unborn children that is going on in Planned Parenthood facilities all over the nation?

I have a question for Elisabeth Warren, Cecile Richards and all of the rest of the pro-abortion crowd.

Where is your outrage?

Elizabeth Warren, you gave an impassioned speech earlier this week on the Senate floor about keeping the government out of women’s health issues. Where are you now? The government has gotten involved in a woman’s right to smoke meth while carrying around a mass of cells. Don’t you care? Will you fight for this woman?

Of course not.

That’s because progressives don’t care about a woman’s health being her own business. If they did, they wouldn’t want all of the rest of us to pay for it. And progressives don’t care about a woman’s rights. If they did, they wouldn’t be killing so many future women. For some, what they really care about is maintaining power. For others, it’s just a matter of evil. They’ll kill anything that they can. Except for a lion. They’ll kill any human being that they can, I should say.

But none of that matters really.

When you are a progressive in this country, you don’t have to make sense.

All you have to do is stick to the talking points and keep the donors happy.

And if you do, you can get away with murder.

A Cop Gets Caught Doing Something Stupid

A cop gets caught doing something stupid. On camera. Thanks to the Internet, within days of the incident, the whole world knows about it. Millions have seen the video. Millions have shared it. And there’s no doubt about it. The police officer’s actions were out of line. Out of line is too light. They were evil. Almost everyone agrees. This man needs to pay for what he has done. If there is any shred of justice left in this country, he will.

It’s hard to argue with video evidence.

But someone will.

They will say that the eyewitness video, captured on an average citizen’s phone, is unreliable. They will say that the video didn’t show the whole story, only the part where the officer grabbed the small, unarmed and drug-free mother of three from her van, handcuffed her and kicked her in the back, sending her to the ground face first. All in front of the three sets of eyes in the back seat. They will say that the officer is being misrepresented because no one is talking about all of the good he has done for the community over his years of service. They will say that any outrage at this officer’s actions is somehow hatred of all police officers. They will say that, technically, he did nothing illegal.

It’s hard to argue with video evidence.

But people do it all of the time.

Especially when that video evidence eviscerates the lies that they have always believed to be true.

A doctor gets caught doing something stupid. On camera. Thanks to the Internet, after the incident, the whole world knows about it. Millions have seen it. Millions have shared it. And there’s no doubt about it. The doctor’s actions were out of line. Out of line is too light. They were evil. Almost everyone agrees. This doctor and the organization she represents needs to pay for what has been done. If there is any shred of justice left in this country, they will.

It’s hard to argue with video evidence.

But people will. In this case, those people are the ones who support the murder of babies.

They tell us that the undercover video is unreliable because the man holding the hidden camera was not a trained journalist like the ones at CNN. They tell us that the video didn’t show the whole story, only the part where the doctors laughed about bags full of dead babies while the remains from another baby sat on the counter next to them. They say that Planned Parenthood is being misrepresented because no one is talking about all of the good things that the organization does for people. They say that any outrage at Planned Parenthood’s actions is somehow hatred of all women and their health. They say that, technically, nothing illegal was done.

It’s hard to argue with video evidence.

But people do it all of the time.

Especially when that video evidence eviscerates the lies that they have always believed to be true.

And especially when that evidence is damning toward the mighty Planned Parenthood.

Justice is essential. No society can stand without it. But it is also total. That is to say, you can’t be selective about when you want justice. Justice does not come with an on and off switch.

So any society that numbly accepts injustice and disregard for human life and dignity in an abortionist’s office should not then be surprised when injustice and disregard for human life and dignity eventually spills out into the streets.

Either you want justice or you don’t.

The decision to turn justice off when it doesn’t fit one’s agenda rolls out the welcome mat for a host of injustices. It always does.

And that’s what is happening today. We have turned justice off in the abortion clinic. In so doing, we have rolled out the welcome mat for injustice to take over our neighborhoods. So what the politicians like to tell you is a private matter between a woman and her doctor has much more to do with the rest of the world than you have been led to believe.

What if our problem isn’t really race or police brutality or lack of respect for authority? Maybe all of the violence, hatred and tension we are seeing on our streets is just the next logical step after the approval and financial backing of the murder of babies.

As a nation, we cry for justice when a police officer does wrong to an innocent citizen. And we should.

As a nation, we cry for justice when someone guns down an innocent police officer. And we should.

But as a nation, we do absolutely nothing when millions of innocent children are murdered.

We should do something.

But we don’t.

Even when there is video evidence.

How To Defeat The Demon That The United States Senate Cannot

We don’t know the name of the demon.

Sometimes the Bible shares that information with us. Like when Jesus asked a demon possessed man for his name and got the creepy response of, “My name is Legion, for we are many” (Mark 5:9).

But this time, we don’t get a name. Another nameless demon. The lack of a name didn’t make this demon any less evil. Like all the others, he was bent on destruction. This time, it was a child who he had his sights set on.

The child was mute. And he had seizures. Horrific seizures. Is there any other kind? The demon would make the child foam at the mouth. He would grind his teeth. His body would lock up. On more than one occasion, the seizures would happen near fire or large bodies of water leaving the child on the verge of drowning or burning.

The child had a demon.

But the demon had no name.

Just an agenda to destroy a child.

Thankfully, the child had a father.

The father wasn’t known for his theology. He didn’t have all of the answers. But he thought that he had found a group of men who could help him.

He was wrong. In spite of their best efforts, these men could not save the boy. All seemed lost. It appeared as though the demon living inside of this boy would be a very much unwanted member of the family.

And the demon with no name.

There was one last hope for the boy. Jesus. Jesus asked to see him.

Jesus didn’t say a word to the demon at first. All it took was the presence of Jesus to send him, and of course, the boy, into another one of those terrible seizures. As the child rolled around on the ground, foaming at the mouth, Jesus finally said something to the demon without a name.

“You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” Mark 9:25 (ESV).

The demon obeyed.

But no one was celebrating just yet. It appeared that the demon was able to get in one final death blow before leaving the boy. His small body was laying, lifeless, on the ground. Everyone assumed the worst.

Jesus grabbed the hand of the motionless boy.

The boy was alive.

He stood up, for the first time in years, free of the demon with no name.

We don’t know the name of that demon who was hell-bent on destroying this child. We just know that he didn’t enter the child again.

But that doesn’t mean that his kind went away.

We see him at work today, busy killing more children. Only this time, he has federal backing, the approval of the United States Senate and a nice respectable name to work with.

Planned Parenthood.

This demon has a name. But his end will still be the same.

After Jesus healed the child, his disciples came to him, confused.

“Why couldn’t we get the demon out of that boy?” They were no help when they tried. But at least they tried. Could you imagine what would happen if this distressed father had gone to the more progressive members of the United States Senate for help.

“We don’t understand the problem. Your boy only falls in the fire three percent of the time. And besides, think of all the other services this demon provides for your son.”

Jesus gave a direct answer for his inquisitive and confused disciples.

“This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.”

When the history of Planned Parenthood is written, the organization will be remembered for having two very valuable friends. The first is the bloodthirsty United States government and the second is the apathetic American people who are more disturbed by the thought of losing free condoms than they are at babies being murdered and sold.

But Planned Parenthood will also be remembered for their three great enemies. Two of those enemies are natural. One is very much supernatural. In the natural, the sonogram and the hidden camera have worked beautifully together to prove that the practices of Planned Parenthood are anything but, “safe, legal and rare” and that an unborn child is obviously much, much more than a clump of cells.

There is another, more powerful enemy of the death industry in this country.

As Christians, we should keep fighting against abortion. We should watch and share the disturbing videos of Planned Parenthood workers treating babies like leftovers from one of their wine and salad meals. We should not give up holding our elected officials accountable, even when they have given up. Still, there are always those naysayers who say that it will never work. They tell us that Planned Parenthood can never be defeated. They were the first to tell us after Monday afternoon’s disappointing vote, “See, I told you so.”

I believe that Planned Parenthood can be defeated.

But it will take a much more powerful option than a Senator. Thankfully, Christians have one.

We have prayer.

It just might be that prayer is the only thing that will defeat this demon. If so, that’s okay. Because the One we pray to is infinitely more powerful than any demon Hell has to send our way. And make no mistake about it, the murder of babies is demonic. It is Satanism in its purest form. Just because someone wears a flag on his suit or says, “God bless America,” doesn’t mean that he can’t have a Legion or two pulling his strings behind the scenes.

But Jesus is greater than Legion.

Jesus is greater than that nameless demon who threw that little boy into the fire.

And Jesus is greater than that demon who is using the name of Planned Parenthood to legally throw more boys into more fires.

I can’t wait for the day when he commands this demon to leave our children alone.

As The World Mourns: The Death Of Cecil The Lion

Cecil the Lion has been killed. And it was an American dentist who did it. I’ll wait here while you cope with that devastating news.

The reaction to Cecil’s passing may be more than you expect.

Some people want to hunt down the dentist with a bow and arrow, the same weapon used to kill Cecil. Piers Morgan really took it to a new level when describing his disgust for Dr. Walter Palmer, the dentist accused of killing Cecil, who was, you’ll remember, a lion.

“If convicted, Dr Palmer now faces a prison sentence, but captivity seems way too good for him. Instead, I’d like to introduce a new sport – Big Human Hunting. I will sell tickets for $50,000 to anyone who wants to come with me and track down fat, greedy, selfish, murderous businessmen like Dr Palmer in their natural habit. We’d lure him out with bait – in his case I suggest the fresh blood of one of his victims would be very effective as it seems to turn him on so much – and once lured, we would all take a bow and fire a few arrows into his limbs to render him incapable of movement. Then we’d calmly walk over, skin him alive, cut his head from his neck, and took [sic] a bunch of photos of us all grinning inanely at his quivering flesh.”

Forgive me if I don’t share the same outrage as Mr. Morgan and the rest of the world at the passing of what was apparently the world’s favorite lion.

Forgive me if I have a hard time getting worked up over one dentist who likes to hunt big animals.

I have nothing against lions, really. It’s all the hypocrisy and unbalanced outrage that troubles me.

On the same day I heard about Cecil the Lion, yet another video was released exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of butchering babies and selling their parts for profit. If you haven’t seen the video yet, you should. But be warned.

You’ll find it very disturbing.

Well, unless you work for the federal government.

The video shows doctors looking at the remains of aborted babies and rating what’s left based on what kind of money it will bring.

Sadly, this is the new American way. Killing babies. Selling what’s left for profit. Forcing money from the pockets of American citizens at the point of a gun to keep the whole operation going. But, somehow, the lion hunter is greedy?

The killing and selling of babies is the real tragedy.

But you wouldn’t know it by watching our elected leaders.

President Obama has begun an investigation of the group trying to expose Planned Parenthood. He has said nothing about the practice of selling baby parts. He has however found the time to convince Africans that homosexuality is the hip new way to go and that he could win again if he ran for president. I’m sure the president is very upset about Cecil the Lion. We’re all eagerly awaiting him to address the nation or at least light up the White House with the image of a lion. But nothing from him about the babies. So far.

Please forgive me in advance.

Forgive me for being rude.

But that’s what I’ll be. I know myself too well. There’s just no hiding from it.

If you pass along an article to me or share a story with me about Cecil the Lion, I’m going to roll my eyes. I may laugh. I’ll probably say something I’ll later regret.

You see, Cecil at least had a name. That baby in a dish in some cold laboratory did not. Maybe Americans would be more aware of the inhumanity of Planned Parenthood if victims of the organization had names like Julie the Accident or Scott the Unwanted Clump of Cells with Really Nice Kidneys.

Cecil was able to grow to defend himself. The baby who was wanted less than the brain stem inside of his head was not. Talk all you want about the supposed inhumanity of a bow and arrow running through a lion. It’s just no comparison to an unborn child’s battle against a government funded doctor’s vacuum cleaner.

The people upset about Cecil’s death are worried about Jericho, the new lion at the top of the food chain in Cecil’s neighborhood. They’re afraid that he will kill Cecil’s cubs in order to establish his own dominance. They wonder what can be done to stop Jericho and the laws of nature. But what about Planned Parenthood, the predator at the top of the human food chain? Will anything be done to stop their thirst for blood, livers and cash?

There are a host of laws that were established to protect Cecil. But there aren’t too many laws established to protect the nameless child who was torn from his mother’s womb. At least not in this country.

It seems that while some in our country are progressive enough to talk all sorts of violence in regards to a lion hunter, they’re still just backwards enough to condone the use of violence on the weakest of their own species for a few extra bucks.

When stories like the one about Cecil the Lion break, there is always one response that you can count on. They call hunters cowards.

But what is the proper term for, ahem, doctors who kill babies and negotiate their remains with bidders?

The word coward isn’t appropriate.

The word monster is.

And that’s a word that fits the politicians who fund and condone such practices.

The only cowards when it comes to the murder and sale of babies in our country are the ones who say nothing about it while stroking their self-righteous anger over the death of a lion.

Do You Remember John?

Do you remember John?

Probably not.

I’ll refresh your memory.

As a child, John was unassuming, un-athletic and largely unnoticed. When he turned 18, he got involved in local politics. By the time his young adult years rolled around, John was a Jaycee, a prominent businessman, a husband and later, a father. He was a pillar of the community.

Shortly before the 60s gave way to the 70s, John’s public image took a hit when he was convicted of sexually assaulting the teenage son of one of his friends. John was given a ten-year sentence but was released 18-months later. Although he maintained his innocence, he lost all contact with his wife and children.

John started a new life in the Chicago area with a new wife, new kids, a new thriving business and new opportunities for community and charity work. He dressed as a clown, Pogo the Clown to be exact, for sick children and other charitable causes. He led several community improvement projects and even got to meet First Lady Rosalynn Carter at a parade he helped to organize.

John did his community a lot of good. As far as they were concerned, you couldn’t do much better than John.

And then they found out that he was a serial killer.

John Wayne Gacy picked up several young boys, either by trick or by force, and then raped and killed them. At least 33 deaths are attributed to him. In 1994, the state of Illinois put him to death for his crimes.

The next time you hear someone talking about all of the good that Planned Parenthood does for the community, think about John Wayne Gacy.

They both have a lot of common.

In spite of their public image of good works, both are nothing more than costumed child killers.
